Time to say thank you 2020!
“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody Beattie
Shall we agree that 2020 has been a challenging year for many? this doesn’t mean that everything has been awful, frustrated, and sad. Challenges are like feedback; sometimes we are ready to accept it, sometimes it takes us by surprise. 2020 certainly had its dose of revelations, at work and at home.
2020 has been a catalyst for the worst, and also for the better… Improved ways of working, empathy, resilience, creativity, team spirit, support.
At PointNorth, we have been able to turn all of our activities 100% virtual in a record time. Individual support and group activities. We have overcome the resistance which arises with change coming up. We have changed the way we worked, the way we communicated, and the way we share our experiences around a virtual round table.
Meeting with our clients working from home has allowed us to share part of our home reality… we have met with their children, their family, their pets, seen their bookshelf or view from their window. Virtual has meant closer, more human, more friendly.
Our group activities have also proved to be different… virtual group coaching does not need to be boring, long, painful, and technically complicated. In our virtual sessions, our participants have played, brainstormed, exchanged, interacted, created, connected. We are grateful for the trust we have received from our clients.
2020 has also given us plenty of opportunities. It has shown us that we are resourceful, resilient, brave and imaginative. A better version of ourselves… thanks to the unexpected and destabilizing year we have gone through. You, great clients, great partners, great friends and great family have allowed us to successfully reach the end of the year. THANK YOU!
